This unique designed adventure combines the discovery of the island of Orleans and its culinary delights. Quebecois cuisine varies form region to region but there is one thing that never changes, the quality!
Happily, we are able to say the Island of Orleans is no exception.
On this 3 hour tour, you will learn more about the history of this Island.
You will make 3 different stops to sample a variety of popular local snacks specially prepared for you.
In Saint-Pierre, Ile d'Orleans, we will stop at Cidrerie Verger Bilodeau, where they make apple cider that comes from their own orchard.
Their products have won many times the gold medal over the years. At this place, you will sample Local French Canadian homemade paté or rillete along with an apple compote. You will also sample some of their cider.
In Sainte-Famille, Ile d'Orleans, we will stop at Domaine à la source Marguerite, were you will sample cheese and/or fruits of the island, Pear wine, Ice wine and Grape Mistelle.
In Saint-Pierre, Ile d'Orleans, we will stop at Cassis Monna & Filles a family of liquorists for 5 generations first founded in 1872.
Cassis Monna & Filles won many international prizes for their Crème de Cassis (Black Currant liqueur) which you will sample along with other liquors they make. You will also sample duck liver paté with black currant confit.
Once we are done with our 3 stops, your tour guide will drive you back at the starting point.
